With a cherry on top


We are all about cherries in this house at the moment. And every day pass we orchards on either side of the road, busily picking and selling cherries directly from their sheds. But to really get in on the action, last Sunday we visited our friends the Sweetapples of Cargo Road Wines and picked a box for ourselves (everyone is welcome to do the same, it's $6/kg). Back home we ate some and churned the rest into a batch of fresh cherry ice cream.

I've been writing a few recipes for the gorgeous Witchery blog recently and added this one today; fresh cherry ice cream with warm chocolate sauce.
